I've resumed activity with two publishing entities and opened another one.
Stephenson Publishing Company can produce and publish in print, CD, and DVD formats, basically any project depending on requirements and cost. I have resourses in Oklahoma and Dallas and between them can do pretty much anything.
Time Stopper Music Publishing(ASCAP) has been open to only my music. I'll now consider production and publishing of others in CD or DVD formats.
D & A Publications is a new company with three partners and myself from Storywrite. We're currently working on publishing a collection of stories written by Storywrite members, fourteen or under, and an erotica collection. D & A Publications is open to other book projects.
With all of these entities, we can publish you at no cost, if we accept you, or we can show you how to produce and publish yourself. At this time we offer no advances on royalties.

Hello! I've decided to pour out all the slush from my mind on what's been going on recently. Firstly, I've been very worn out from the querying process of my book. I finished a query letter that I'm proud of and sent it out to various agents. The problem is, I can't find any more agents to send it to that are interested in the genre, or accept unsolicited queries or email. I've gotten 9 rejections in the past week (and counting ) and it's really gott...
Hello! I've decided to pour out all the slush from my mind on what's been going on recently. Firstly, I've been very worn out from the querying process of my book. I finished a query letter that I'm proud of and sent it out to various agents. The problem is, I can't find any more agents to send it to that are interested in the genre, or accept unsolicited queries or email. I've gotten 9 rejections in the past week (and counting ) and it's really gotten my spirits low. I know that I will receive a lot more rejections and that my chances of acceptance are as slim as a sheet of paper, but damn, has it really gotten me down! I've been starting to question myself and my writing. "Am I really as good a writer as I make myself out to be? Do I stand a chance in the world of books?" I feel miserable, but I know that I just have to keep trying and not give up! No matter how painful this process is (I really feel like I've been stabbed in the heart a few times ) and how long.
I'm also a bit confused on the genre of my book/series "Sweet Cravings." I think that I've just missed out on the huge paranormal phase and am left to wander in the dust of it. I thought that my novel could be Young Adult, but my main character is 27. I think it's paranormal romance, but there's no sex in it. Could it be chick-lit? I'm scratching my head with confusion. I just keep doubting myself...
I really wanna start the second book, but I've been so down I feel as if I don't have any effort left. I also have another idea for a completely different book I think would be interesting, but I just can't seem to get myself to write.

this is my first journal entry and i would like to say that this year i will be trying to put all my poetry that is on here and on paper together into a book, as i then intend to get it published, i have noticed that a lot of the people on here i speak with are from the states, where as i am in England... however i'm sure that if it does get published then it will be available to buy online, to get you all interested, i will be buying some points on here soon to hold a contest with a very hig...

When the competition starts the rules will be,
No Spoken Word.
No unpublishable pieces - keep the language clean and respectable, and use the proper Grammar and triple check your spellings. (any piece that doesn't follow this will not win i have to be fairly tough with this rule.
Keep the pieceof poetry you write to the same size as a single side of A4 paper,
And finally the winner of the competition will have to come up with a piece of art that will be featured either as background or on the adjacent page to their poem.
Sensual YES Erotica NO, there may be children reading the book, if this book is a success then i may bring one out just for adults.
No personal attacks on other people or malicious poetry that is meant as an insult, i can read these things clearly and poems of this nature will be disqualified with immediate effect.
All i can say is this competition is different.
things to help you on your way,
i like metaphores, Rhyme and Similies,
make me smile, Laugh or cry, but the stronger the emotion i get from your piece the more likely it is to win.
and i will be looking at other peoples comments too, as well as having a hidden judge. so please comment in as much depth as possible. but no slamming other peoples work because you don't like it. these comments aren't nice and your own piece will be disqualified.
This could be your Lucky break for if the book gets published with your piece of poetry in it you will find a cheque shall arrive at your doo. who knows it might be a best seller?
we all dream of this sort of thing, we all want to be noticed well take this opportunity to make me notice you.
you will have a little while yet before i start the competition which i anticipate to be about mid March but when it come it will be a tough competition only one poem per person so really make it your best piece...

This is very hard to do. I can't add images to my journals and things due to me being a free member. I can't get the memberships because my parents can't afford it. I'm going free until I can get a job and help them out. I'm nice like that. My bro is getting paid $140 a week because he works in a chicken house with my uncle. I'm too young to work there because the chickens could kill me. Rwaw. That to me is downright stupid. Whack it with a stick if it at...

I'm currently 12, 13 on July 5th. Yay! That's the good thing. I can write and my parents have encouraged me to get my poetry, lyrics, and stories published. I'm almost done with the poetry and I'm going to get it published soon. My parents get paid soon, so they'll have the money for the copyrighting.

PS-My parents told me to self-publish so then we'll get the money instead of part. People love my poetry for some odd reason. It's good to them, I guess. To me, it's another poem that has escaped me and poured out onto the page in words that express the emotion. I can say something so powerful in a speech and it'll leave people with tears in their eyes. Thank you for reading this note. Wish me luck!
